Helpful Tips

Choosing a Cemetery and Memorial for your loved one is an important decision. We are here to help guide you through the process and have some helpful tips.

Before Choosing a Cemetery:

  1. Check Rules & Restrictions: Make sure the cemetery’s guidelines match your vision, especially regarding monument size and style.
  2. Ask About Extra Fees: Inquire about any additional fees for opening and closing plots to avoid surprises later.
  3. Marker Requirements: Confirm if there are specific marker types the cemetery requires, such as flat markers or bronze plaques.
  4. Foundation & Timing: We can provide a foundation, but some cemeteries may not require one or may handle it themselves. This can affect the timeline for completing your memorial.

Before Choosing a Monument:

  1. Granite Color & Price: The color and origin of the granite you select can significantly impact the price of your monument.
  2. Personalization: Consider adding carvings or etchings, like floral patterns or religious symbols, to make the memorial more personal.
  3. Photographs: Decide if you want a photo of your loved one, either as a porcelain portrait or etched into the stone.
  4. Flower Vase: Think about adding a vase(s) for fresh flowers as part of the design.
NOTE: We have a very large indoor and outdoor showroom; however, the cemetery is your best showroom and if you see something you like, take a picture, and we'll see if we can match the design.
